Tina was originally a backyard pet in Texas, but she was relinquished to Gladys Porter Zoo after a child was killed by a big cat at the home. In 2011, the zoo sent Tina to National Tiger Sanctuary to make room for new tigers they could breed.

Tina is known as the singing tiger of Branson, because she is very cool around visitors! She truly enjoys seeing people and never misses an opportunity to make a new friend! In 2011, we took a biopsy of a mole on Tina’s neck to check for cancer. We were thrilled that the mass was benign. Sadly, Tina is another NTS cat that has been declawed on all four paws. We watch her closely to ensure that her feet are not causing any discomfort.
