We have leopards, pumas, lions, and tigers. We also support an array of many other exotic and domestic species at our sanctuary.
Our big cats come from a variety of situations. Our goal is to provide a permanent home for rescued endangered, exotic and domestic animals. We focus on the physical and mental health of each animal in our care.

CLASS & MINI TOUR
A LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR MOST AGE GROUPS!
THIS CLASS IS OFFERED ON THE SECOND & FOURTH SATURDAY OF THE MONTH.
Visit our big cats and learn about the fascinating ways tigers, lions, and leopards have adapted to become perfect predators. In this class students will learn:
- The environmental importance of large carnivores.
- The evolution and adaptations of large carnivores that make them successful predators
- Hunting tactics and environmental adaptations
- 1 1/2 hour duration including a 30-minute tour involving three different subspecies of our sanctuaries’ large carnivores!
Teachers, parents, and camp counselors!

LIVESTOCK ESSENTIALS CLASS & MINI TOUR
A LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR MOST AGE GROUPS!
THIS CLASS IS CURRENTLY OFFERED BY GROUP RESERVATION ONLY.
Learn about our stubborn llama and his neighbors; pot-bellied pigs, cattle, and horses. In this course you will see:
- How to halter a horse and a steer.
- Take a try at a few livestock knots while you feed snacks to the animals
- Learn basic livestock husbandry
- 1 1/2 hour hands-on class and pasture tour
*no cats will be included in the livestock tour
*students will learn and handle animals while remaining outside of the pasture fencing

ECOLOGY 101 CLASS
& MINI TOUR
A LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR MOST AGE GROUPS!
THIS CLASS IS CURRENTLY OFFERED BY GROUP RESERVATION ONLY.
Want to learn how we are working on sustainability by managing our natural resources present on the property? Interested in how natural habitats are created from the little helpers like bees all the way up to the needs of large carnivores? This class will include:
- A walking classroom tour of a midwestern deciduous forest
- Native pollinator support and habitats
- Honey bee hive introduction
- Composting and the animals that help
*no cats will be included in the ecology tour
